Companies that manufacture shoes in the world (5) : DC

American shoe company, DC Shoes, first established in 1993 and holds its headquarters in Vista, California. Although DC originally stood for "Droors Clothes", Quiksilver since acquiring the company that is no longer tied in any way to Droors, a company that no longer exists.

DC provides shoes for skateboarding and they also have different types of clothing, though not limited to, shirts, jackets, jeans, and hats for men women and children (girls also includes a line of dresses and skirts). DC even provide a wide selection of snowboards. DC is a U.S. company that specializes footwear for extreme sports, including skateboarding, snowboarding, BMX, motocross, rally car racing, and surfing, as well as snowboards, shirts, jeans, hats, and jackets.

The company was founded in 1993 and based in Vista, California. DC originally stood for 'Droors Clothing Footwear', but since the sale Droors Clothing (which is now defunct), DC no longer has ties with Droors and simply DC Shoes. On March 10, 2004, DC Shoes was acquired by Quiksilver in a $ 87 Million USD transaction.

The Fitz Mid S features a super suede, heavy-duty suede upper, perforated upper panel, foam padded tongue and collar, lightweight mesh tongue, vulcanized construction, rubber feet scarves, and much more to ensure a great skate shoe.


As expected, shoes and clothes is very popular in the skateboarding community, they also revered by many individuals in the public eye. From singers and musicians such as Lil Wayne and Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park), including Adam Sandler reportedly wearing DC shoes DC and in many of his films. Travis Barker of Blink-182 and 44 are not forgetting to wear the product DC.

But the most popular products are shoes that are available in various colors, but every shoe produced in DC more often seen in classic style, as for frequently purchased products are ladies sandals and boots snowboarding.
